Cruise Ship provisioning at Port Kembla

Image

From Saturday 28 March 2020 and over the coming week, cruise ships will enter and berth at Port Kembla to take on board food and other provisions and to re-fuel.

This is being done at the request of the NSW Government so that cruise vessels will be able to leave Australia and head for overseas port locations.  These activities will be overseen by NSW Police.

The ships have only crew on board (no passengers).  No crew members will be allowed to leave the ship whilst at Port Kembla.

Strict protocols and procedures will be in place at all times to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all workers involved and the wider community.
