Hundreds of Wollongong primary school students are swapping their classrooms for a tour of Port Kembla’s industrial hub as part of an NSW Ports community initiative.

Hundreds of students will be given a behind-the-scenes look inside the port, to learn about its operations and the important economic contribution it makes to the region and the State.

Schools will learn about the various trades it supports and how it connects farmers, miners, consumers and businesses to the world.
