Port Kembla Coal Terminal (PKCT) is currently demolishing coal stacking and reclaiming equipment that was recently replaced on site. This will require closure of Seawall Road to protect public safety while heavy items are lifted and moved using a large crane.
PKCT have advised that Seawall Road will be closed from 6:00 am till 5:00 pm on Thursday 16 August 2018. The road and adjacent areas will be closed to both vehicles and pedestrians during this time so that visitors will be unable to access the seawall, groyne (aka Oilies) and Northern Breakwater areas.
