Sounding of Ships Horns for International Worker Day - 12pm Friday 1 May 2020

To celebrate International Workers Day (May Day) tomorrow 1 May, Port Authority of NSW (PANSW) has provided special clearance for commercial vessels in NSW ports to sound ship’s horns at noon in recognition of the contribution of all workers.

This activity is intended as an expression of support, and a reminder of the vital contribution seafarers are making every day to keep each and every one of us supplied with essential goods.

There will be 10 ships in Port Botany and 3 ships in Port Kembla participating, alongside the PANSW vessels.

For more information please check the Port Authority of NSW website or contact Tara Kennedy, Community Relations Manager at PANSW on +61 9296 4732.
