Don Telford
Non Executive Director
Don has been a Director of NSW Ports since 2014.
He has over 40 years experience as a leader within the logistics and supply chain industry, with deep expertise in Australian port operations, Australian rail operations, warehousing, road transport, industrial relations and shipping and ferry services.
Most recently he was Chairman of the Logistics Council of Australia and Chairman of the McAleese Group, and prior to this held roles including Chief Operating Officer of the publicly listed company, Asciano,(including Pacific National and Patrick), Operations Director and CEO of Pacific National and positions with Mayne Nickless and TNT.
Don has undertaken advisory management positions to both Monash University and RMIT, and is a past member of the University of Sydney’s Institute of Transport Studies’ Logistics Management Advisory Committee.
