Matthew Stewart

Matt was appointed as an Alternate Director of NSW Ports in August 2024.

 He is a Vice President at Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), one of the world’s largest privately managed infrastructure investment funds.

 Since joining GIP in 2016, Matt has been actively involved in the origination and management of unlisted infrastructure investments with a focus on transport and energy sectors (including involvement with the NSW Ports asset since 2016).

 Matt’s background is in investment banking and corporate advisory, having previously worked at Deutsche Bank and PwC. Matt also holds a Bachelor of Business from the Queensland University of Technology and is both a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) and CFA Charterholder.
